Who we are
Good Problems is a Sydney-based digital agency. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Good Problems.
Questions, access requests, corrections and privacy complaints can be sent to hello@goodproblems.com.au.
What we collect
If you choose to submit an enquiry, we may collect:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number and requested call time when you use the booking page;
- your business name, website and any project details you provide;
- your quiz answers and the owner action plan shown to you;
- later correspondence and information needed to provide services to you.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in the enquiry form.
The quiz does not send data by itself
Your multiple-choice answers are used in your browser to generate an owner action plan. We do not receive those answers merely because you complete the questionnaire or view the diagnosis. They are sent to us only if you continue to the detailed-plan step, enter your details and press “Request my detailed plan”.
Strategy call bookings
The booking page asks our Google Calendar only whether a time is free; it does not reveal the names or details of existing calendar events. Your contact details and selected time are sent to Good Problems and Google Calendar only when you press “Book this time”. Completing your details or looking at the calendar does not submit the booking.
The website checks the selected time again before creating the event. A booking is confirmed only after the event is created. Google then sends a calendar invitation and Google Meet link to the email address you provided. We use the submitted details to organise the call and prepare for the conversation.
How we collect and hold information
We collect information directly from you when you submit a website form, email us, speak with us or become a client.
General website enquiries are processed by Formspree and delivered to our business email. Formspree may also record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, access time and referring page for security and service operation. Strategy call bookings are processed through our website host and Google Calendar. Submitted information may be held in our Formspree account, Google Calendar, email systems and the business tools reasonably needed to manage the enquiry or client relationship.
Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- prepare the requested detailed plan and respond to the enquiry;
- assess project fit, prepare proposals and deliver agreed services;
- manage client relationships, records and billing;
- maintain the security and operation of our website and systems; and
- meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Submitting a detailed-plan request does not add you to a general email marketing list. We use the supplied email address to deliver or discuss the requested plan and related enquiry unless we separately ask for broader permission.
Detailed plan requests and email follow-up
When you submit a detailed-plan request, the website sends your contact details, quiz answers and the plan generated in your browser to Good Problems through Formspree.
We use that information to review the diagnosis, prepare a more detailed plan and follow up about the related enquiry by email. You can ask us to stop the follow-up or delete the enquiry information by emailing hello@goodproblems.com.au.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose it to service providers that help us operate the website and business, including Formspree for general enquiry forms, Google for Calendar invitations and Meet links, website hosting, email, file storage, project management and professional advisers. We give providers only the information reasonably needed for their role.
We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, systems or the safety of others.
Overseas processing
Some technology providers, including Formspree and Google, may process or store information outside Australia. The exact countries used by cloud providers can change and may not be practicable for us to specify.
You can read Formspree’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for more information about their handling practices.
Cookies and website data
At the date above, this website does not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our website host and Formspree may process ordinary server or security logs when you visit the site or submit a form. If our use of cookies or tracking changes materially, we will update this policy and any notices that are required.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and reputable service providers to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain necessary business records or to meet legal obligations. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to normal backup and record-retention processes.
Access and correction
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access to it or ask us to correct inaccurate or out-of-date information. Email hello@goodproblems.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Privacy complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, email us with enough detail to investigate. We will acknowledge the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable period.
If the Australian Privacy Act applies to the matter and you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, providers or information-handling practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
